Geared Like A Machine LLC("GLM," "we," "us") is a video production and equipment rental company based in Texas. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website at gearedlikeamachine.com and related services.

- Name and email address when you subscribe to our blog
- Name, email, company, phone, and project details when you submit a discovery or contact form, or use our scope and estimate tools
- Email address when you request a rental quote or project estimate
- Billing and payment details when you transact with us, processed by our payment provider
We also collect limited information automatically when you visit the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) from our hosting platform, and product analytics events as described under Cookies and Analytics below.
How We Use Your Information

- To manage client relationships and project communications
- To process payments and manage rental and production billing
- To operate AI-assisted features such as our estimate tools and assistant

Cookies and Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how visitors use the site, which pages perform, and where features break. PostHog sets cookies and similar identifiers to measure usage across a session. This data is used in aggregate to improve the site and is not sold.
PostHog also provides session replay, which records a masked reconstruction of page interactions for debugging and usability review. Text inputs and sensitive fields are masked by default, so the replay does not capture the content you type into forms. Server logs and error monitoring are used to diagnose and fix technical problems.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you block analytics cookies, the site will still function. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required, as described in the California Privacy Rights section below.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Instagram API Usage
Our application uses the Instagram Graph API solely to publish content (photos and captions) to the official Geared Like A Machine LLC Instagram account. We do not access, store, or process any Instagram user data beyond our own business account. No third-party Instagram accounts are accessed through this integration.
Data Retention
Contact information is retained as long as necessary for business relationship management. Blog subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database hosting, and hashed authentication credentials. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your Rights
