Rendering notes

These are qualitative selection notes. Evaluate the exact lens version, focal length and aperture on your intended camera.

Use cases

  • Tabletop macro views around objects
  • Insect-level perspectives in small spaces

Tradeoffs to test

  • T14 makes light levels a central production constraint.
  • Module choice and the long barrel affect rig clearance.

02 / Before the shoot

Plan a lens test

Test the focal lengths and apertures you expect to use. Check the center and edges, move a light across frame, and pull focus through your planned working distances. Include skin tones and the lighting conditions from your shoot.
