There is no sign-up wall. Open the app and browse the current camera and lens catalog by category. Search for a specific item, open its detail page, and see the information that matters when you are building a package: photos, day rate, key specifications, and current availability status.

That sounds obvious, but rental software often puts account creation, marketplace clutter, or a generic inquiry form between the crew and the inventory. GLM Rentals starts with the equipment because that is usually where the production question starts.

The app is designed for working crew, production companies, photographers, and content teams across DFW. It is not trying to turn a rental relationship into anonymous e-commerce. It is designed to make the useful part of the conversation happen sooner.

Build the Request While the Job Is Moving

Add the cameras and lenses you need, adjust quantities, and choose the rental dates. The estimate updates as you build.

Multi-day and weekly pricing is applied automatically. A Friday-to-Monday weekend counts as a single rental day. That means you can see the shape of the package before sending a message, instead of exchanging three emails just to establish the basic gear, dates, and price range.

You can also choose a GLM Shield or Shield+ protection plan, then select pickup at GLM in Rockwall or local DFW delivery by zone. The final review stays itemized, so the request is legible to you and to the GLM team receiving it.

The most important distinction in the app is also the most practical: tapping Send Request does not instantly charge a card or claim that the gear is locked.
